Panel Upgrades

Your panel is the heart and soul of your homes electrical. It governs your electricity to ensure safe operation of everything electrical within your home, so if something is going wrong with your panel you need to know. We can troubleshoot panel issues and perform preventative maintenance to keep your system running correctly. If it can not be repaired we offer complete replacement.

EV Charging

Electric Vehicles are becoming a very common thing in todays day and age. Many different makes and models are offered with many different levels of charging. Everett Electric will install the appropriate breaker, wiring and install your charger, or required outlet, that will allow you to charge at a much faster speed than a standard outlet.

Troubleshooting

When something electrical stops working in your home it can be more than just an inconvenience. It can actually be dangerous. Drawing power on a loose connection, broken/damaged wiring, a bad device or improperly installed electrical can cause sparking and arcing inside your walls, or right at your device, causing a dangerous situation in your home.

Aluminum wiring

Aluminum wiring was installed in many homes in the 1960's. Almost immediately problems started to appear, flickering lights, heat coming from electrical boxes and burning insulation on the wire. Throughout the years there have been many ways to deal with aluminum wiring, and most of them are no longer practiced. We now have a very safe and reliable way to repair your aluminum wiring, by transitioning it into copper at the connection points, which are the most dangerous points on aluminum wiring.

A sub panel will allow more breakers to be installed meaning more circuits for your home. We will always perform a load calculation of your connected load and verify that your current main panel has the correct available ampacity, and proper grounding before installing a sub panel.

Grounding

Proper grounding is very important to the safe operation of your homes electrical system. It helps protect you and your home from the dangers of damaged circuits and/or electrical overloads. With a very poor or no ground connection to your panel and earth YOU have the potential to become the ground connection and be shocked.

GFCI Protection

GFCI or Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter is an important safety device for kitchens, bathrooms, outdoor locations, garages, basements and any location near a sink basin. These devices help shut down the power at the outlet in the event of a dead short. This is protecting you, if you accidently drop something in the full sink basin while it is plugged in, by turning the power off at the outlet.

Outlets

Wiring can become loose at the connection points to the outlet and cause the outlet to fail. Wear and tear can cause your outlets to no longer hold the plug properly, come loose from the wall and also -cause the device to break. Pieces of a Plug can break off in the outlet causing it to be unusable and unsafe. Outdoor outlets are exposed to the weather and can fail quite often.

Switches

Switches are everywhere in your home. They get used dozens of times a day, and not always gently. Over time with use and abuse switches can wear out. If you have a switch that is not working, is making noises when you use it, feels really stiff, loose or smells hot it is time to get if fixed. A bad switch can cause electrical shorts and cause shocks.

Lighting

Do you have a light fixture that is no longer working, or perhaps it is just very dated and you would like to replace it with something more modern. Installing new security lighting to light up dark areas of your yard or driveway is critical to help keep unwanted guests away from your home. Motion detector security lights and motion security camera/light combos are s great way to monitor your home and keep it safe.

Ceiling Fans

We can install wiring and support boxes along with a ceiling fan for a new location. If you have an old fan that no longer works, we can remove the old fan and install a new one.

Garage Heaters

Many times garages are not insulated and can get very chilly in the winter time. We can install a new dedicated circuit and hang your new heater so you can do things in your garage when it is cold outside.
